everything I asked her to, she learnt so fast.
Liberty was out of a litter of 7, her mom Pella came over form California in whelp, she has been featured in the Forward magazine, so has Liberty and her sister Lexis. Sadly for us, good for her, Liberty went into training on 2Sth March, and I'm told she is doing well, I wish her all the best and as my first puppy for guide dogs I will never forget her she will hold a special place in my heart.

Now with us is Lucy, Labrador crossed with Irish Water Spaniel, and that's a whole new story for another time. ...
As a new puppy walker I would like to thank Cath for her support and help, and also Chris who came to my interview, she has been a real god send and mostly a true friend-
THANK YOU

Police were on full alert when a 999 call was made suggesting a potential murder--but it turned out to be a shaggy dog story.

An emergency call operator in Worcestershire heard muffled voices and a man shouting
"Come out or else, I'm warning you".
It was accompanied by the sounds of whining. Then the line went dead.

Police immediately returned the call fearing the worst, only to be greeted by a very apologetic woman. She confirmed that all was well and the culprit was not her husband- but the dog!

It transpired that their 14 month old Golden    Retiever, Bailey, had grabbed the house phone in his mouth and ran off into the garden.
Bailey then found a spot where he could chew the handset to his hearts content.
But he was pursued by the owners and            disappeared behind the garden shed.

As the dog attempted to keep his grip on the phone, he managed to dial 999 just as "Dad" was shouting at him to come out from behind the shed.
The couple from Withington, Herefordshire have apologised for the mix-up.

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Chris, Yvonne's friend and mentor sadly passed away on   Thursday 11th June. She will be greatly missed by Guide Dogs and all who knew her.
