Night times were peaceful. We thought we had the Perfect Puppy.
Then she began to feel her feet, or should I say paws, and her true            personality broke forth.

She loved life, people, other dogs and food, (not necessarily in that order)
Excitable and boisterous; every visitor was greeted with enthusiasm. Our excuse was .She's only a puppy,
Newspapers, magazines, letters and stray tissues were fair game. Ripped to shreds in a matter of minutes. No soft toy was safe. She would chew them until their stuffing ran out. Our excuse was. She's only a puppy,

Eventually at 4 months old she began to realise that outside was the best place for Busies.

From an early age she loved to take things to bed with her, especially tea towels, but shoes, keys, anything she could find became potential bed mates. We even found her cuddling up to my iron one morning. How she managed to drag it into bed with her remains a mystery. We soon learned to make sure everything was put away out of reach.

Our year of Puppy Walking Mica is fast coming to an end, and we thought your readers might like to share the            experience we had with our first (and at the start I vowed many times it would be the last) Guide Dog Puppy.

Both of us retired a few years ago, and one day my husband happened to meet and talk to a seasoned Puppy Walker. He came home full fuss. We must try this, he declared, Time on our hands, worth while cause etc. etc...

We fell in love with Mica the minute she arrived. Cream coloured coat, big brown eyes. Within days she seemed settled.
Came to the whistle for food-------no problem
Came when called, sat on command-------so easy
